Peter Grant Peterkin

Peter Grant Peterkin CB OBE
Chairman

Major General Peter Grant Peterkin concluded a distinguished military career as the Military Secretary, the Army’s HR Director and the Chief Executive of a Government Agency which was based in Glasgow. As Military Secretary he was responsible for the employment of over 100,000 Regular officers and soldiers as well as some 40,000 Territorials during campaigns in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He was until recently the Serjeant at Arms in the House of Commons, responsible for the administration of Parliament, including the security of the Palace of Westminster.

He brings to Global Vetting wide experience as a major employer in the Public Sector, as someone who has been dealing with vetting issues for a number of years - and in varying environments and countries.

Chief Executive

Colin Coffey, a chartered director, has more than 20 years main board and Chief Executive experience in the United Kingdom and Ireland with direct responsibility for developing and implementing business plans, developing management teams and introducing best practice operational processes. 

He brings to Global Vetting the leadership and operational management skills necessary to ensure that the company is equipped with the most effective business processes to meet the demands of its clients. This is an important feature of the Global Vetting ethos.

After retiring as a Captain of the Queen’s Own Highlanders in 1988 he went on to join a national recruitment agency prior to setting up what was later to become Tim Lewis Recruitment in 1991. The company operates a strongly established brand in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Central Europe.

With an in depth knowledge of Central and Eastern EuropeTim brings to Global Vetting vision, integrity, credibility and an entrepreneurial flair and is uniquely suited to the development role.
